2. Upload
Click Upload in the top right of your screen.
- Select your files (mp3, wav). Wav formats will be converted to 320kbps mp3s at upload for public storage and streaming, while the lossless files will be made available exclusively for collectors of your release.
- If you prefer a lower quality version to be publicly streamed and stored, please upload 128kbps or 256kbps mp3s
- To make AIFF or FLAC available to collectors, you can upload files to your release's Bonus Materials once it is live.
3. Add Release Info
- Name your release in the Release Title field. If it’s a single, enter Artist - Song Title. If it’s an album or EP, enter Artist - Album/EP Title.
- Click + Add a JPG or PNG and select the artwork in your files.
- Select or create the Hub you want to publish you release to
- If you do not select a hub, the release will not display any hub information when viewed on Nina.
-
A hub is a collection of Releases. You can have multiple hubs. Think of it like Soundcloud, if you could control a bunch of different pages with the same account. You can publish releases via your hub. You can repost other’s releases to your hub too. You can also add collaborators to the hub, and give them permission to post and repost to it.
-
If you’re a label, you should make a hub for your label. If you’re an artist, you can make a hub for your project—if you have multiple aliases, you can make a bunch of hubs.
