No you don’t. You can make an account on Nina with just an email address. When you do this, a wallet will be automatically connected to your account using Magic Link. You can also use Nina with a Solana wallet like Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack.
For some actions, like publishing a Release or creating a Hub, you need to have some Solana in your account to pay transaction fees.
Other actions like collecting free Releases, redeeming Release codes, following accounts and Hubs, and verifying to social media accounts can be done without any Solana (you may need to confirm some transactions). These transactions are sent to a dispatcher server that we operate to pay the transaction fees on your behalf.
